Triple Exhalaron - Stylish & Compact for Medium Rooms
Exhalaron Ultra Tri provides CDC minimum 5 air changes per hour (ACH) cleaning coverage for larger bedrooms, offices and medium-sized living areas. It can sit flat as a centerpiece on long conference tables or mount on a wall with the included template and anchor screws. Crossed bungees can secure a USBC Power Bank (see our recommendations below) to power the Exhalaron Tri on the go for 10 hours!
And it's amazingly quiet and energy efficient -- only the largest retail HEPA models can match its delivery of 120+ cfm CADR at just 35 dB sound pressure, and none can do this using just 7 Watts!
This is quiet enough to sit next to people on a nightstand or meeting table to capture and clean most exhalations before they spread into the whole room! Includes a simple, convenient purple speed control knob -- no complicated modes or buttons!
Exhalaron Ultra Tri boasts the quietest, strongest 2400 rpm pressure fans we have found: 3 CoolerMaster Mobius paired with three custom HEPA H10 cylindrical filters. Exhalaron Ultra Tri carries FCC & UL507 electrical safety certification for US and Canada, and is CARB certified to not emit ozone.
Exhalaron means unprecedented power, silence & versatility for a personal purifier!
Inspired by Cross-Table Exhalation Study
Why use as a table centerpiece? U of Colorado, Donghua & Marriot experiments demonstrated that a 98 CADR cfm purifier on a 4-person table will directly capture about 3/4 of exhalations before they cross the table, reducing virus deposited on occupants up to 95%.
CleanAirKits created the Exhalaron series to silently tackle this scenario.
Compatible Power Banks
USBC Lithium battery packs sold separately. Battery packs should be USBC PD 20W QC 3.0 rated with male USBC pigtail and < 5.9" tall to fit between filter plates, like these:
VRURC T2046 20000mAh - 10 hours
Charmast C2046S 20000 mAh - 10 hours
Sabani 35000 mAh - 8 hours (not really 35000mAh???)
Anker GaNPrime 733 Power Bank 10000 mAh - 5 hours, needs male-male USBC
See our Youtube page for PowerBank installation video.
Compatible Cylindrical Filters
Exhalaron Ultra Tri comes with three HEPA H10 grade filters with 85% single-pass capture efficiency @0.3um, similar to MERV15 grade. Washable black speaker mesh attractively shrouds the filters without impeding airflow. Six bungees firmly seal the filters against the fan plates -- just unhook them to change the filters.
Exhalaron hardboard panels do not contain lead, Formaldehyde, or PFAS. However, like cooking, laser cutting can generate trace carcinogens hence:

Unintuitively Quiet
It's dead simple. CleanAirKits deliver top-end portable HEPA performance and they're QUIET. At that performance level, HEPA are not quiet -- people turn them down or turn them off. And we need them to be on and high-performing to passively remove covid and pollutants. The exceptionally large, unencumbered filtration area provided by dual micro pleated 3M Filtretes, and our diffuse banks of silent pressure fans make this possible. Delivering 200-500 cubic feet per minute of clean air means the boxes filter 1000-2000 faster than an adult human breathes!
Always On Safety
Since a Clean Air Kit is not loud and power hungry like a HEPA, it can always be running. And if it's always running, it's always adding a layer of protection for you and your family from smoke & airborne transmission of viruses like Flu, RSV, and Covid.
This corresponds to the pandemic HVAC best practice of continuously running furnace fan circulation with MERV13 or MERV14 filtration.

Quiet on Full
Clean Air Kits produce 5-10x less noise than HEPA purifiers at max capacity.
-
One Speed Design
Speed controls defeat the efficacy of most HEPAs -- people turn them down to quiet where air cleaning slows. We have just one speed: silent full blast!
-
Unprecedented Energy Efficiency
Decades of competition has driven amazing silence + efficiency in PC fans. Our fan banks use 6-16W -- comparable to a LED bulb and easy to run off batteries!
Products are returnable within 30 days for a full refund less $44 filter hygiene cost and shipping. Exchanges to other models with same filter sizes are free except for shipping, otherwise $44 for new filters.
All products ship from Missouri via UPS according to an average rate per product (until backend supports live rates accurately). Due to high demand and customizations products may take up to two weeks to ship.

"Standalone HEPAs or Corsi-Rosenthal boxes are a quick way to lower the risk of inhaling SARS-CoV-2 virus. Filtering the virus out of the air reduces the chance of inhaling it---simple logic. The other option is to filter/trap it with a mask before it is released or inhaled."

3M tested the Corsi-Rosenthal Box with the same rigor it applies to its Filtrete brand of products and found the C-R Box “performs exceptionally well in its ability to capture unwanted airborne particles, including viruses," says Kelsey Hei, a 3M application engineer.

“A C-R box uses MERV-13 filters, which can only remove 60% to 80% of those particles, (but) the fan on the C-R box is much bigger and can clean more air,” says Joseph Fox, chair of the indoor air quality advisory group with the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, who works with schools on HVAC issues. “All you care about in the end is the total rate at which the air is cleaned. So, what the C-R box lacks in efficiency, it makes up for in airflow.”

Many exciting innovations have emerged in the last two years alone. Once it is clearly acknowledged the virus is airborne, it becomes a very fixable problem. People will shift from cleaning surfaces to cleaning indoor air where we spend 90% of our time. This has huge positive health ramifications beyond COVID-19 by reducing the spread of all airborne pathogens, pollutants including wildfire smoke, and other asthma-inducing aerosols.

To lower inhalation dose of virus-laden respiratory aerosol particles (a major key to suppressing the mortaility and mobidity associated with COVID-19) the three Rs must be advanced from where they are now. Remove, Reduce, Remediate.

Appropriate combos of Remove, Reduce, & Remediate are what many of us called layered risk reduction (or layered inhalation dose reduction) back in Spring 2020. Not rocket science. For those who still care about reducing the spread of COVID-19, it all still applies, folks.
